Listening is part of everyday life
A thoughtful approach begins with understanding the environments we move through.
Concept imageryThe day changes around us
A quiet room, a busy street and a long conversation are different listening environments. The way a device sits and the audio someone chooses to hear can also change the experience.
Thinking about listening as part of everyday life creates a useful place to begin. General awareness should explain its purpose without implying that a device has performed a clinical hearing assessment.
Different questions need different tools
Sound exposure awareness, a hearing evaluation and hearing-aid fitting answer different questions. A general-wellness display should not be interpreted as evidence that hearing is normal or that a hearing concern is unimportant.
If someone has a hearing concern, a qualified professional can evaluate it. A developing wearable experience should be clear about that boundary.
A considered product approach
Synseer is exploring audio, wearability and listening-environment context as connected design topics. The goal is an experience that fits daily routines while making its limits understandable.
Final capabilities, supported conditions and instructions will follow verification. The concept shown here does not offer a hearing test or an authorized hearing-aid feature.
